I went with my brother all around the neighborhood dressed as elves last Eid Fitr. We said sorry to each other and my neighbors gave us some money. It usually happens during Eid Fitr. With that money, we bought many sweets. We filled our stockings with those! We went to sleep late.
On Eid Fitr day, we invited my auntie and uncle for Eid Fitr dinner. We made pudding, pie, and cake. Dad and my brother cooked the meat. I drew cards for my aunt and uncle. They liked my drawings and were very happy!
After dinner, we played lots of games. Last Eid Fitr holiday was just perfect! I hope that next year’s Eid Fitr will be as nice as the last one.
Holiday Experience During the Eid al-Fitr holiday
This year, I didn't go to a recreation area but only spent my time with relatives at a relative's place. I met my best friend and relative when I was in elementary school. Now he lives in a location quite far from my house. It took 2 hours by motorbike to get to his house. With my father, I met him and his family who were still in the Eid mood.
We spent time there eating various Eid cakes, then took a walk around his village, and I was introduced to his friends. Even though I didn't go anywhere during the Eid al-Fitr school holidays, it had its own impression for me. I hope he and I can have a picnic together somewhere nice.
